Upon arrival prior to your appointment, our team will greet you and your furry friend with warmth and caring before directing you towards the first available examination room. Naturally, it is the goal of our clinic to see all patients on time; and, whereas we do have plans in place for emergent situations, there is always the chance that unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Virgil Animal Hospital is committed to the efficient provision of services and does everything possible to minimize potential delays.
Typically, patients first see a veterinary assistant who takes a thorough history, gathering necessary information for the doctor. Next, you will be seen by one of our skilled veterinarians. During this appointment, your pet will be examined and the vet will answer any questions you may have, along with scheduling any follow-up treatment necessary, including diagnostics and treatment.
After your meeting with the veterinarian, you will generally see the assistant once more. During this time you will receive additional educational material and have an opportunity to discuss routine care and wellness of your beloved pet.
